the way it’s taking me MONTHS to read this book and the plot is FINALLY getting interesting thank god i was so close to DNFing which is a shame bc i wanna love this series as a whole!!

the mystery is very intriguing and all sure but oh my god i hate EVERY single character so far there is not ONE character that literally isn’t the worst right now they’re all selfish daft and annoying I hope the real mystery is when will any of these people get a life

this book is sooooo long but worth every page omg

also the illustrated version shows hermione with her hair full day 1 curls after just taken her hair out in what was basically a permanent braided hairstyle

So far, one of the most unique first person perspectives I’ve ever ready, and probably the most fun as a reader. Prob going to be a top book of the year for me I can feel it

i’m sorry i’ve never began a book that was SO clearly made for ex-latin catholic school kids, so if you took 4 years of latin in high school and regret it bc it gave you no language skills and maybe 2 SAT skills and an abnormal roman history fascination, this one is for you, salvete frates
