this version has white nights and bobok in it. just finished white nights and it was probably the single most boring thing i have ever read. it is not yearning and romantic it is BORING

very sweet i just don't get why it's marketed as a novel and not a short story collection. one of those books where nothing happens but in a nice way. not as good as the goodreads rating would auggest

randomly picked this up in the independent by michael's fine so far but i don't really care

much prefer the ivan storyline so far

getting better but still not convinced why is every character such a caricature
