I liked the “The Best there is” and “The Hunted” series but the rest of them were skippable.

This is a heartwarming and touching read that combines the beauty of nature with the author’s personal journey. The way she connects her fight with cancer to the life of the forest ecosystem is really moving.

If you’re someone who’s mainly interested in learning about the fungi-tree networks and how they help forests thrive, this might feel a bit more personal than expected.

Overall it’s a solid 4/5.
