i was gonna say that he just gave an interesting point that is, it’s good to find a job that will give you important skills when you start working, as you probably won’t get a good pay when starting, so getting those skills is the reward of working in the beginning, and then you use them to get a better job with a higher salary in the future. but then he started promoting MLMs??? wtf 😭

there are some interesting life lessons but you couldn’t always apply them for everyone. it’s not as easy as « if you wanted to be rich, you would be ». learning the difference between an asset and a liability is not enough, life isn’t that easy, we don’t always have the opportunity to choose only assets. this is just one point in the book, but there are other things like that which i’m not a fan of

i like the idea of having your own metric to measure success, like when he gave the example of the member of The Beatles who decided to change his metrics and focus on his family and having fun on tour and decided this would be the way for him to be happy.
I can really resonate with that on so many levels!

So far, it is interesting. I love economics, but it can be boring sometimes. Here, it talks about interesting topics, like discrimination, white supremacy and corruption, all with economic terms that are still easy to understand, even if you don’t study it.
