I’m not going to lie, this won’t be a very thorough read

I am enjoying this very much but my day job is making it hard not to balk at the implication of widely available and widely drunk tea and milk in 1754 London.

So you don’t have to like the book that’s 1000% okay but I defy anyone to say that the way Casey writes so viscerally about love doesn’t feel like a sucker punch straight to the solar plexus holy shit
