Who should we be more skeptical of— Liam or his mother? Plot is interesting, but it doesn’t feel like a major plot twist is coming.

Sid.. 🙄😒🤦🏾‍♀️ It’s so hard to unsee the red flags 🚩 🚩🚩

I absolutely LOVE following Josie’s story!!

Over halfway finished and I’m hoping things pick up and take a turn. Right now…. 🥱

This is a very cute plot thus far 😊

While I’m invested in the story now, I cannot deny that concept for the plot is slightly cringy. 😳🫣

At this point, I wonder if I belong in Ward D because… 😳🤯👀

I feel like I’ve put the puzzle pieces together, but I know in true Frieda fashion— I’m probably wrong 🤦🏾‍♀️

I’m surprised I haven’t DNF’d this one yet

I’m getting impatient!!! 😩😩 Did Wayne kidnap this girl or not? I pray there’s a plot twist because if not, the answer came wayyyyy too soon in this book.

Thus far, I really like this book. There are several moments within the plot that remind me of The Purple Hibiscus, yet better! I keep rooting for Funke. So many emotions to feel from start until.. well, where I am now (halfway) lol 😆
