“The Black Bell Buoy” by Rupert Chesterton is a highlight of the collection so far. Also enjoyed “From the Depths” by F. Britten Austin.

“The Mystery of the Water-Logged Ship” by William Hope Hodgson — some Scooby-Doo-ass shit!

But before that: “The Floating Forest” by Herman Scheffauer (good) and “Tracked: A Mystery of the Sea” by C. N. Barham (boring).

“Held by the Sargasso Sea” by Frank H. Shaw — what if your ship was your girlfriend?

“Sargasso” by Ward Muir — love short horror stories composed of mostly diary entries / logs / other ephemera that provide an account of a spooky event after the fact. This one felt a little rushed, though! Still fun.

“From the Darkness and the Depths” by Morgan Robertson — oh mein Gott this was goofy.

“The Ship of Silence” by Albert R. Wetjen — spooky!

Back at it. Let’s see if I finish this year.

Wrapped Han Solo’s Revenge. Gonna take a break before the last novel.

Han Solo at Star’s End done. Thought I might have been further along after a week’s vacation but haven’t had as much inclination to read as I predicted. Also, it’s just turbo-simple stuff.

I can’t believe the edition I’m reading doesn’t have a cover on Goodreads. This site, I s2g!

Feel like I got through more of this in one sitting on a plane than I’ve managed to get through in the few weeks since.
