Finally got interesting! But still feels a bit derivative.

Unwrapped this as a “blind date with a book” that my library does for Feb 14th. So far the writing style is pretty juvenile but I’m intrigued by the story, so we’ll see how this goes.

The part of my brain that is tuned to reading mysteries and thrillers made it hard for me to not expect a “gotcha” moment for about the first 50% of this book, but now I’m fully onboard with the central friendship and I’m not scared (please don’t say sike now, mr. Weir)

This MC is hilarious and I adore the narrator. I understand why people suggested the audiobook.

Andrewwwww I swear if the twist involves you being a bad person, I’m going to lose my mind. Legit the only character that doesn’t make me mad at the moment.
