i love how much this book immediately starts where book 1 leaves off

this pissed me off as a teen and makes me mad now. everyone is so mad at mare for sticking with the reds and freeing her friends. it’s like yall silver motherfuckers we’re part of her being trapped yeah she’s going to betray you and i would too

also mare is a reasonable fmc and isn’t totally stupid and it’s so nice to read a fantasy book where the fmc is a ditzy dumbass

i forgot how much i enjoyed this, i also would have started fucking up all of those silvers tho. like the worst thing you could do is kill me so do it
