no for real what the fuck is happening. the stakes feel so low and every problem is conveniently solved. i also feel zero connection between the main characters. it’s so bland the plot isn’t very engaging either

this book probably shouldn’t make you cry but Arlene and her team are so powerful that i’m in tears.

it’s not great but it’s not bad but i’m really not into the other only mentioned female characters a warrior at that being written the way she has been. it’s leaving a very bad taste in my mouth
