I just want this over with. Nick's pov (which takes up majority of the content) is incredibly unbearable

It's not starting off too good. Maybe it's just because my expectations for the remainder of the series is so low based off the previous three books

Resorted to speed-reading and skimming at this point so I can read other books during the break.

Several months later and over a hundred pages in, I am still finding it a bit difficult to fall in love with Piranesi. Sure, the book is interesting and mysterious. The world and characters are an enigma. But it's taking too much time and brain power for me to truly get into the literature.
