So far, I don’t understand the hype about this book itself (although I feel it’s important that the author is able to tell her story).

I loved to read Judy Blume’s books when I was younger; when I started this one, her writing style felt like an old friend. But around 1/3 of the way through, the book became tedious and I’m not going to slog through the rest of it (after having read over 60%).
