I’m so sad. I’ve been looking forward to this book for two years, I loved the first one I’ve read it several times and I’ve enjoyed other books by this author….
This is coming from someone who doesn’t mind a grammatical error or misspelled word or two, but this book has so many I’m shocked, it reads like a draft and not a finished novel.

Eek slap in the face to all hairstylists MFC “Listen, maybe I’m just a hairdresser…” this one hurt. Cosmetology is not only an art, it involves intense chemistry, biology and mathematics not to mention talent. As a former hairstylist I can promise you no one is “just a hairdresser”
Also MMC is allergic to shellfish yet eats shrimp with no problem.
Im not sure if I’m going to be able to finish this one.

I’m so disappointed. I’m on page 386 and “he has some OCD on top of bipolar disorder and psychopathic tendencies.” A. I have OCD and it’s not something anyone should be afraid of. B. I have a friend with bipolar disorder and I’d never be afraid of them. The author should have just said “psychopathic tendencies” and left it at that. Everything else shows ignorance and is hurtful.

I wasn’t able to finish this. The characters are amazing, the pop culture references are perfect (anyone who mentions weeping angels generally has my heart). The writing was not executed well enough for me. I was in the mood for a fun insta love fest and this is that...just too much and too instant and I felt like it skipped important details.
