I’d give this 3.5 if I could. I liked learning about historical figures I never would have otherwise, but I found myself growing impatient with the main character and her choices.

Cute easy read

Another great Kate Quinn book, especially on a part of history I am less familiar with.

Incredibly interesting and well-researched. Be prepared for gruesome descriptions, but you will
end up with a good understanding of what they went through.

A nice follow up after taking a grad class on Indigenous public health. Would recommend as an audiobook, especially as the author narrates it herself and has a lovely voice.
