It’s laughable how this book is trying SO HARD to be an enemies to lovers.

Literally NOTHING has happened the last few chapters and I am soooo unsure I want to finish this.

Okayyyy so I find the whole world here to be quite different to what I have been currently reading ( it’s giving hunger games district 1 vs 12 for sure)…

Few steamy bits occurred quite early on which I’m sure some people like but was a quick few page skip for me personally but the characters seem ok so far??

Honestly unsure if I enjoy this or not. I might have to read a book that isn’t romantasy next lol

Not too shabby…

Some things are fresh - the tarot stuff is cool (literally arcana academy stuff but I’ll allow it as there’s other magic too) but the broody love interest/ enemy is sooooo overdone ( sometimes I live for it sometimes I don’t- in this case I don’t….). Why oh WHY am I goin to keep going…

hope this wows me lol. so far January has been 1 really good wow factor book (blood of hercules for me suprisingly!), and the rest kinda hmm this is good or just hmm okay... books. PRAYING for an easy read that has be page turning all night

Idk how I’m almost done already… ngl I don’t think much actually went down in this book so far lol. Bitta world building but there’s not much work being done towards FMCs goal

Going to proper commit to this when over the weekend

Hoping to finish this tomorrow!! I SWEAR I am gripped but the inner dialogue just isn’t as funny as blood of Hercules ( which genuinely had me stitched up)

Kept putting this down and forgetting about it. Not a bad book, just not as gripping as I want it to be

Finished and I’m in awe at how beautifully written this book is. The plot is just TOO GOOD and I don’t think I’ve ever read a book like this before. A SOUL TOUCHING book if I may!

I am infatuated with Evelyn <33
She is such a mysterious and cunning lady ahhhh!! Her drive for success and a place on top is motivating in an odd sense. Side note : Celia is a gem too! I am honestly rooting for Celia, Harry and Evelyn to have somewhat happy lives AHHH

I adore Evelyn’s ambition and how she yearns for more. The way she goes by any means necessary to grab what she wants is impressive but also scary. At 14-17 she only sees her value in her ability to seduce and attract men. Why choose Monique to compose her life story ?

Feeling a little traumatised after punk 57. I am trying to tell myself I enjoyed it but like ???? I’m not sure I did. I don’t think I enjoy leaving my preferred tropes ✋SO MUCH HYPE OVER THAG BOOK FOR WHY

I don’t know if I even like this book or not at this point???
Like I understand Misha’s struggles and Ryen’s too but I really hate their chemistry sorry (not sorry)
Their relationship off paper is just horrible and borderline abusive and it’s not so much enemies to lovers as people said ✋. Am I going to keep reading and hope it tones down the AGRESSION?? Yes. Maybe this is just be reading into it too much!
