I find it kind of annoying how Lizzy and Jeremy believe so much that they will find the key. I would have sawed that box in half by now even if it destroyed the contents.

The character's personalities in this book kind of remind me of the characters in "Flipped" accept that Bryce is more of a jerk that Jeremy is.

I see another example of how Jeremy and Lizzy are opposites when they are looking for the key to the box at the flea market. Jeremy is so unsure and shy, while Lizzy is so outgoing and outrageous.

It's interesting to see how Juli has been so forgiving towards Bryce and he hates it. He wants to be punished in some way for what he did.

I wonder why Mr. Loski switched from being a country singer in a band to being an uptight jerk.

I don't understand, at he end of the 2nd book tally refused to become a special and now she has become one

I just realize that Jeremy and Lizzy are opposites. This is a good way to draw the reader in.

I can't see why Bryce wouldn't just explain why he didn't speak up for Juli. Maybe it's because he is afraid that his explanation will not be good enough.

I am starting to see a change in Bryce. He is realizing that it is good to be different\unique and appreciate Julie for that.

I think Bryces father is very immature. He knows how Julie's family has had a money issue because of her mentally disabled uncle, yet all he can focus on is how bad their house looks and criticizes them for not fixing it.

I think the way that juli talks about her mother (As being a very sensible woman) is foreshadowing that her mom will do something not very sensible

I think that wendelin van duraanen was smart to have each chapter from the point of view of either Juli or Brycebecause their feelings about each other is so different that it

I think the dreams that tally keeps having symbolizes her life. She is like the beautiful princess who is trapped in the tower. By the tower she means her life in pretty town and she can't keep enjoying how pretty she is and escape.

Maybe those people that Tally met outside of the city where like the more successful version of the smoke. They speak a different language and the specials don't seem to be looking for them.

I think it is very surprising how much tally has changed from the operation. In the 1st book, tally doesn't want to be pretty because of the brain damage that goes along with it. In the 2nd book when tally is pretty, the author uses a strange vocabulary to explain how tally feels. Bubbley

I like how Tally says that the uglies hoping to come to the smoke seemed so much younger than her. This detail is important because it shows that she has matured since she arrived at the smoke and all the experiences she has had.

I think it's interesting how at the begging tally thought that the people from special circumstances were pretty but in a cold sort of way, but near the end she says they look hideous. This shows that she is going through a change, she is realizing that what's inside makes you beautiful

I like how in the woods Tally thought that David was beautiful, when all her life she has been brainwashed in to believing that before the surgery everyone was ugly. This is an interesting way that the writer shows that Tally is in love with David.

I think that it is a good idea for people to name themselves just like in Safer's family. This way people are able to choose a name they like or shows their personality

I can't think of a reason to include the character of David in the book. Maybe because the author wanted to have some one to be a big part in the blue team to show teach us a lesson in being trustworthy

The title makes me think that safer is maybe making this "mr.X" thing up. I know if he was, Georges would be very mad

I wonder why Safer's mom named him Safer. Maybe because when he is spying he always takes extra precautions

Samantha is kind of hipacritical. She hates her dad because he is an alcoholic but at a party she gets drunk

It seems strange that Samantha would judge some one by what they look like and choose that peson to be her pen pal, especially when people make fun of her because what she looks like

I think a lot of the issues that Samantha and her family may come from her grandma's pride. Her grandma is afraid to ask some one for help,

i like how the author includes this alternate personality for the main character.
