Just finished part one and I am loving this! I usually like to fly through books but this one needs to be savored. The characters are so human. I love the sparkling sense of humor throughout, especially in the final scene of the first part, that was absolutely priceless

This takes a lot of brain power to read but it’s definitely worth it

This main character is insufferable

Halfway through and it’s unclear to me what this book is about. I thought I knew at the beginning, but then the same story got told twice with different names and different castings. And now I’m learning about some new character’s deep Italian heritage?
