Hearkening back to high school for one of my afternoon-at-Barnes-and-Noble-reading-random-books sessions… Kept reading because I didn’t want to give up on the book, but even 3/4 of the way through, I’m not really sure how it’s supposed to end. I think the author’s trying to force the stories of the four protagonists together and it’s unclear if they’ll actually intertwine in some meaningful way
