Stop talking about men!!! In a book about women!!

Part I and half of Part II are wonderful and insightful. She gave light to Kollontai, Armand, and Krupskaia beautifully.
However, she only really focuses on urban women, who, as Ioffe mentions herself, are a minority of Russia’s population. Little attention is paid to the peasant woman, as per usual. It feels like Part II and Part III are majority family history, ignoring much else.
