I'm this far and I'm not sure if I want to finish. Don't get me wrong I really like the story and the world building is AMAZING, but I just hit a p.c. wall and it's really f'n annoying. The character Cyddra is a "they". ::eye roll:: NO. You're not a they - you're a he OR a she. and the word 'xenophobic' was in there because hey, there's another p.c. term. Knock it off. Tell a good story, stop pandering.

I paused this book for now, b/c it turned out to be about fighting the powers that be and "slavery" rather than what I thought it was going to be: a strong woman who pushes rules aside to become a great power. I just felt like the slave race agenda was pushed way too much. It became redundant.
