The interlude between trumpets 6 and 7 wherein we have the "tale of two witnesses" stirs up feelings in me I can't describe.

It's so good. If they ever make it into a musical, one of the tracks should be called, "Somebody Needs to Smack Cathy". I'll help write it.

Just finished the chapter on gluttony (which I listened to over a bowl of cocoa pebbles 😆). She had a fairly nuanced approach, but I'm not sure I 100% agree with her. But I'm glad she is writing about it; it's one of the least discussed sins. I am thankful to have some points to ponder.

The chapter on gluttony is next. Do I even want to know what she says about this? I love to cook and eat great food. Don't take that away from me, Rebecca! But I do count calories and moderate portions, so maybe I won't feel so called out??
