I read 60 pages. The book is from a first person point of view that shows only 1 character and how they come up with plans and strategies.

I read 43 pages in 10 minutes, and the main idea was about hot the number 5 most powerful alien is taking over the world. Daniel, an alien hunter, is tracking number 5 down to kill him. Daniel ended up finding number 5 in a farmhouse and killing him by using his parent's silver necklaces and conducted lighting to eletricute him.

Minor characters in Coraline are Miss Spink and Miss Forcible. Their purpose for the plot is that when Coraline went to their room, they talked with Coraline while having tea, and ended up telling Coraline that she was in terrible danger. On page 20, Miss Spink said, "You know Coraline, you are in terrible danger." This shows us that Miss Spink can tell when Coraline will end up in dangerous situation.

I relate to the character Fang because he is mostly quiet. For example, Max says "Fang...He's the ever the strong and silent type." This shows that the other characters know that Fang is strong and that he is quiet. I relate to him because we are both quiet.
