An old friend has recommended this to me many times; It’s definitely one of the best books I’ve ever read. Through most of the novel, and especially toward the end of it, I was reminded of Didons quote “everyday is all there is”… Phillip waiting for his life to start until he makes a realization that he’s almost 30 and has spent those years just waiting; anyways not being very eloquent but it was good

I’m struggling with rating this cause you’ll have like 6 poems that are some of the most misogynistic/racist poems you ever read and then one that is one of the best ones you’ve ever read 🤷 and it’s just back and forth like that til the end

Gets a bit lost within its own premise and prose

Emily Henry needs an editor who’s entire job it is to just go through her manuscripts and cross out every terrible millennial joke
