This has been an interesting read through because I read 53% of the book but then realized it was the original text when I then realized that there wasn't Author's Preferred Version where she revised the book 10 years later when she had become a better writer and wanted to change some things for future books/plots... So I reread the whole first half of the book so I could be in the new version.. wild lol

feels kind of like 13 going on 30

This is definitely a different take on a haunted house LOL I've never heard of a character so unbothered by hauntings

Needed a change of pace, feels like the right time to pick this back up

Ok Becca and Melody, I've been trying to play close attention but I'm listening and keep forgetting people's names, so I'll probably never see the end coming 😂😂

But I'm enjoying it!! The cards magic kind of reminds me of one dark window but it is different

I'm finally jumping back in, I forgot how much is going on 😵‍💫

how is there still a whole other book? lol they just got to the gates of mordor...its been a long time since i watched the movies, and obviously i dont know how similar they are but at the same time, there is still so much left in this book and then the next book?? LOL

a bit of a different book for me, but I can picture the scene/bookshop and i like the cat :3

My mom got us this for Christmas..sad to report this is a book written by a boomer that is poorly edited and has crazy phrasing.. I've saved a couple things and I'm happy that it's such a fast read due to all the pictures
