I should not be rereading this in public places because either I’ve gotten softer since last time or I underestimated the impact it has on me.

It honestly feels like I’m left here to just bleed out my emotions.

The way the children are protecting Lucy makes me tear up.

This is my reread before I get my hands on the second part in september because for some reason they DIDN’T release the smaller pocket with everything else.

However, after this I might just need to reread it again for the sake of it! I’d forgotten how wonderful this was. I’ve already giggle and kicking my feet at how adorable it is! And note that the romance hasn’t even started! It’s just the children<33

So I actually spoiled the switch when I got annoyed at the wrong names in each chapter and tried to se if anyone else commented it which honestly is my own fault but yeah. At least good to know that it wasn’t some overlooked mistake:)

About half of the book have been consumed and as a person who came from the author’s tiktok animations I have some questions regarding the portrayal of their relationship in the animation in contrast to their relationship here.

I’m also incredibly confused as to why Eric is deemed the villain in the animation and Nathaniel is considered the hero but from a non-tiktok perspective this is awesome.

Also Austelia’s fear for Aurelio is so raw.

I just got to the Tristan and Callum talk. The “I-do-it-to-survive” and am I growing fond of Callum of all people. He’s a manipulator (and perhaps the whole convo is a trick) but he’s interesting.

And I hope his desperation for Tristan is more than “surviving”. In my head, the “feeling of betrayal” Callum expresses is a part of the need for Tristan’s approval. (Make it gay people)

Hear me out. A part of me wonders if I should have dnf:d this due for the lack of captivating intrigue but then again there is still something that’s keeping me hooked, something unsettling I need answers on.

Otherwise I find myself relating to Nico. My thoughts also only being:
Gideon. Gideon. Gideon. Gideon.

I think my favourite parts of this book are when someone (preferably Nico) talks/think about Gideon.

Watching everyone want Tristan in a different way is one of my favourite things ever.

However, Tristan and Parissa is a duo I’d love to be a part of.

Watching Callum and Parissa fight is another twist in the mind.

Remove Callum from Tristian’s back! And if the outvoted one “dies” in the end then I called it.
