this book feels like reading fiction, the way it is narrated. yet it is packed to the brim with quotes and references and dates, so a work of academic history through and through. brilliantly written fr

this is one of those books which i keep putting aside, but once i pick it up i dont even realise its been an hour reading. the book is massive with fine print so takes almost half an hour to get through 12-15 pages but the writing is quite lucid. itll prolly take a couple of weeks more to complete
