A little over a month in to my quest to reread all of Stephen King's work in order, and I'm in Vegas with the dark man. I forgot how much I love this novel.

Day 13 if my quest to reread all of Stephen King's work, and I'm starting The Stand. It's time to hang with Stu and company as Captain Trips nearly wipes out the entire population.

With stories like Sometimes they come back, The Ledge and The Lawnmower man, it's no wonder this is one of my favorite collections. These and so many more make Night Shift a fantastic book.

It would seem that Night Surf is an early stab at The Stand. Here we are introduced to A6, a super flu. We also have, as far as I kind find, the first mention of Captain Trips. Night Surf was published 4 years before The Stand and it is only ten pages long.

Day 15 of my reread of all of SK's work, and I'm a third way through The Shining. This has always been one of my favorites, and I love it a little more every time I read it. I also dislike the movie more and more as I remember the events and characters in the novel. The drastic changes in both Jack and Wendy are hard to overlook.

It's day 10 on my quest to reread all of SK's work, and I'm now starting The Shining. It's in my top 5, maybe my favorite novel. It's been years since reading it and I look forward to my time at The Overlook.

Getting it on with Charlie is a dangerous business

Wow! It's been a long time since I read Rage. I forgot how brutal it was, almost from the beginning.

As my quest continues, to reread all of SK's work in order, I'm three chapters in to Rage. Boy does this doesn't feel like SK's writing. He sure has a different voice when writing as Richard Backman.
