This book makes me feel more mentally ill

I get it women are excluded everywhere 😭 grueling to keep reading examples 😭😭

I hate half of this book and I utterly love the other half. Premise of magic as logic and paradoxes and a modern take on hell is so fun and interesting and unique but the grad school half of this is SO ANNOYING I get that it’s probably a critique of elitism and masochism and academia but Alice is such a pick me and I know that’s the point but I’m still ANNOYED

Cool premise so far, takes complicated and cross cultural things and condenses them nicely but my GOD real life has enough ivy elitism and grad student insufferability, this takes it to a whollleeee other level lmao
