I'm plodding ... slowly. Trying to be motivated enough to want to continue reading.

Decided to hold off this for a bit.

Kinda bland; the characters are bland, the dialogues are bland. Am not too sure at what age is this novel targeted for.
I was actually skimming over some paragraphs. Deliberating to give up reading the rest of it.

Urgh. I need to put this on hold until my brain is ready to delve into the mystical realm of Greek mythology.

Error discovered. "Eight thirty-eight p.m., or 1638 hours if you were all military." It's supposed to be 2038 hours.

I feel like I'm watching an action-packed cartoon. Undoubtedly, there're some humorous parts. BUT "sex slave in a perpetual drug haze" in Singapore???!!! SERIOUSLY??!!! The writers obviously did not do their research. I'm offended as a Singaporean.

Maybe it's just me; but I'm not liking the writing style of this book. It's disconnected; disjointed, and once in a while, I have to re-read some parts because the paragraphs don't flow.

That's it. That's all that I can endure; after days of dragging myself through page after page, agonising and deliberating to give it up altogether.

It's a struggle trying to garner sufficient motivation to read this book. I feel disconnected from the characters.

I'm finding the entire premise of the experiment to be so ridiculously unbelievable.
And Divergent = those who have reached genetic healing???!!! What....?
The alternating POVs of narrative writing i also starting to grate on my nerves.

Hmmm.... maybe because I've been reading quite a number of novels since & now I find it sluggish to read Divergent.

Oh well, I'll just have to re-read the first 2 books again if I were to even get anything out of Allegiant. Allegiant - back to bring out on-hold.

Arrrghhh. I cannot continue because I have no idea what's going on. It's been quite a while since I read Divergent & Insurgent. Thought I could simply plunge into Allegiant but now at this stage, I'm feeling pretty lost in the storyline & completely indifferent to all the characters.

I seriously think there's something not right with the MC. Knowing her destiny and her HUGE responsibility to save mankind, how on earth can she still be occupied with thoughts of leading a life of human normalcy???!! It baffles me that she can whine about school and catching up with her friends etc etc. *facepalm X100* I just. Don't. Get. It.

Oh my, this is bad. The storyline is getting more ridiculous and choppy. I dislike dropping a book midway and honestly, I've read a number of YA novels; a few got me cringing and giving me a strong urge to abandon reading them. BUT none has come up as strongly as this - to abandon it completely. I'm literally dragging my feet on this one.
