I am so glad I had this to pick up, as listening to Emily Bronte's biography has me yearning for moors and atmospheric vibes. It was either this or pick up Wuthering Heights again (which I still might do!).

Oh my goshhhh. I love DM's writing SO much.

Listening on audio. WOOF. This book is not for the faint of heart.

I am absolutely loving this. Family drama, generational curses and ancient Chinese folklore with Gothic undertones.

A vampire book for a vampire day

Sticking with it because a trusted reviewer says the beginning is slow... but man is it slow...

On audio... just an absolute delight. Joy & smiles & wonder! Very much in the same vein as Pangolin: Kulu's Journey (nerflix) which I LOVED.
