THE book about Lannisters. we gather so much about them just now that their power is at its nadir. every Cersei and Jaime’s pov is insightful in a way in which Tyrion’s failed to deliver, probably because of his identity being forged by a variety of forces beyond the walls of Casterly Rock. i forgot how Genna was such a highlight of this book: her dialogue with Jaime is probably my fav so far
