I think this is my 9th time reading this book. What an absolute joy it is every spring to take a group of students to the barn, to the fair, and to the barn again. How lucky I am to teach about the simple beauty in friendship. simply one of the best books i’ve ever read. highly recommend for adults chasing the joys of childhood.

This book is so powerful. I loved the southern maine setting and the deep bond of the sisters in it! It got me out of a deep reading slump!

another amazing Elin Hilderbrand book. Loved it from start to finish. The last chapter made me cry and be grateful to be part of a small water community. perfection!
