Finally finished volume one

Book 1/6: ok so people weren’t lying when they told me the plot was just walking and occasionally stopping. I’ve been reading this every morning after I wake up so it’s basically my Bible study. But that also means I’m half asleep while reading and the monotonous walking really does not help to keep me engaged. However, it’s certainly cosy. Looking forward to some more action.

Am tempted to DNF… currently reading the essay on student encampments and it’s pissing me off. She says she supports student protesters but then keeps repeating destructive myths, for example that student encampments were anti-Semitic spaces. She also says it’s reductive to call Israel a “Zionist colonialist state” bc it generalized the people there… that phrase literally uses the word STATE not citizens
