Very compelling tale based loosely on the history of 17th century philosophers such as Spinoza. The books also explores the history of Portuguese Jews in London and Jewish women’s role in Jewish religion and philosophy. Interesting. Read as an audiobook from Hoopla. Recommended by Ena Forbes.
