starting off strong this morning. Really like the language in this story. There have been several poetic elements, but very elegantly written. Doesn't come across as "wtf am I reading....this is ridiculous" sense..... like with another book I'm currently attempting to read..... *whistles*

All very whimsical so far. Not a style I read often, so slowly becoming used to all the flights of fancy.

Pure cruelty and horror at this point. Feels more like a human experiment.
