DNF - don’t understand the point in this piece.

I’m about a quarter of the way through - not at all what I expected, little reflection of the blurb.

I have just finished Part One - definite 5* for this first part.

I’m at Chapter 19 and I’m STRESSED. 😬

I’ve reached Part 3.

I have reached Chapter 15. Certainly more engaging than the first novel in the series but my GOODNESS the protagonist’s saviour complex is nothing short of belligerent. The world building continues to lack any clarity and I’m disappointed by this - no excuse second book in.

Started and finished book seven.

DNF at Chapter 26. I paused following the funeral, continued on yesterday. I’m lost, feels like a short story that’s been significantly stretched out.

I have finished Book 6… gosh the language is so wonderfully dense I could reread the same page over and over and gain new insight each time I’m sure! Going to take a break again before returning to book 7.

DNF - Saving for another time. Not quite in the mood for a classic, otherwise I’m very much enjoying it.

A & H’s experiences when in Almanby are just dragging on!!!!! Quite infuriating as up until this point I was considering five stars.
