For decades my grandad kept meticulous notes on his wall calendars about the weather each day and any visitors or callers to his house. Listening to this as an audiobook takes me straight back to reading these relatively perfunctory updates. It's like listening to/reading notes rather than a memoir. Doubt I will stick with it (keen to know if it will improve if anyone else has read it?)
