I would apologize for the warrior cats rabbit hole I’m going down but honestly this cat drama is tea worthy

Are there plot holes and continuity errors and questionable cat lineages? Absolutely
But they’re so good and no one can convince me otherwise

Absolutely hooked and I think it’s the way the narrator well, narrates

Going feral over warrior cats is something I never expected to do in 2024 but here I am, finishing 3 books in 5 ish days

Warriors was my favourite series as a kid and I’m dedicated to try and read all 100+ books 🫣

I’m gardening and heard how good the voice acting was in this and even tho I read it last year and currently have ,, 9 other books on the go, nothing is stopping me

I was struggling with a kindle book and was abt to mark it as did not finish when I realized I hadn’t marked it as reading in the first place 💀 oops

I’ve also missed the Six of Crows gang after the first book slapped so hard, and then having to endure the Shadow & Bone trilogy

I thought the Grishaverse so far had Shadow & Bone and Six of Crows but after hearing the “King of Scars” moniker for Nikolai from Ruin & Rising I was like huh that sounds familiar
I check and iT IS A SERIES/BOOK?

I had found one a hot minute ago that really worked for me and lost it 😬 basically I’m looking for a criteria to check off once I’m done a book

Honestly the other thing is that, you know how some cartoons/shows lack background characters? It shows a city, but there’s no cars or people? And it feels . . . Fake? I’m almost getting that vibe.
The worldbuilding is okay but in some parts it just feels hollow.

Not a big fan of the constantly changing perspectives, especially Briony. But Alistair’s and Isobel’s friendship? Phew
There’s nothing I love better than rivals warming up to each other and oh shit oh fuck one’s injured “don’t die on me”

Six of Crows was a wonderful start to 2023 and all the characters are just *chefs kiss*

First page and, “If only Anya’s eyes were blue like the sea or green like an emerald. Instead, her eyes were brown- lovely, dreamy . . . Melted chocolate brown? Rabbit fur brown?” Had me CHUCKLING like same

Brown eyes in the sun remind me of honey and it’s gorgeous ngl

I got so excited to watch Shadow & Bone and like 10 minutes in realized Six of Crows also plays a part so I was like 💀 fuck me at least it was already on my reading list, here we go

Night Terror really reminds me of a Mary Sue bc like
Almost everything happens to work for her/is conveniently there

I will say when I started reading this my dumbass didn’t know it was sapphic so bonus points?? I was pleasantly surprised 💀

It’s been slow reading because I haven’t been that interested in my recent books, but Iron Widow made me excited to read again.

It’s so good ??? I miss the feeling of wanting to binge read a book again, bless Iron Widow 😩❤️

For The Wolf had such an interesting concept but if it had been executed properly, I would’ve been knee deep in this franchise by now.

It was so long which I normally don’t complain about, but most of the book was just ✨ not important ✨ and if removed I wouldn’t notice a difference.

Plus the lack of world-building and queer characters 😭 it’s a fantasy world yet everyone is straight as a board

I know I shit on For the Wolf but the quote,
