Have a clear vision to work towards. Assess the opportunities and challenges. Don’t be afraid to say no to opportunities if it doesn’t get you to where you really want to be

Start small, forget about the broad vision for now. Start with daily goals then move onto adding weekly goals before adding monthly goals.

What’s my broad vision?

Become a sergeant?
Raise good children?
