I’m really starting to think this will be a book that I won’t finish. The writing is just awful! How on earth is it rated so well?!

Might actually finish this in 2018

I need to reconsider some of my life choices if I’m going to finish this book within the next 5 years.
Quitting my full time job and enrolling in an idiots course for translating 1800s English is probably a good start.

18th Century English takes a bloody long time to decipher.

Trying to fit in as much reading as I can between life happening (struggling at the moment), but I've loved everything Nance has written so far and I'm already enjoying this slow burner.
This man is an expert in what he writes (I see him time and again being interviewed on aircraft-related TV shows) so it's great when he puts his expertise into creative vision on paper.
