Not to sound insensitive but Jesus Christ Almighty I would’ve just had to take a Jackie Taylor style nap

I FORGOT… “the bond forged with my subjects became so close that they sometimes called me ‘the seventeenth survivor.’” Ok buddy wrap it up maybe I’m reaching, but I feel like that could have been left out seeing as Piers Paul Read did not have to survive in the Andes for 72 days after a horrific plane crash that led to the survivors having to eat their friends to survive…. That’s just me though Idk

So far I like that it’s less story more facts because the author was not on the plane. However, I do NOT like how biased it is. The ENGLISH author states that he was the best person to write this because he is also Catholic… He says some survivors were upset w how he portrayed their survival without talking much about their faith/friendships (valid), but he does take time to talk about his OWN faith…

i’m ngl the beginning of this book took me like 2 months to get through but it’s picking up now it’s getting better i’m believing and hoping and praying
