Cannot put it down. Witty writing with some appropriate moments encouraging a pause to process and reflect. What would I do with this dilemma?

An exploration of how we can find fulfilment in tragic situations is my initial reflection. However the backdrop for the story deepens the sadness without a doubt.

As expected there are some clear cases on why we are not as happy/fulfilled in life. But also, so far, some super suggestions to enable us to get into a flow where we have focus. A pleasing read this leisurely Sunday morning.

Superb selection of stories. Well-written, engaging and with so many twists. Thought-provoking with some poignant reflections from the storytellers. Can't seem to put this book down.

Slow moving and VERY detailed

An interesting perspective on the occurrence of errors and their inevitability. Suggesting that if we accept errors occur then maybe we can plan for some and also change our thinking. A nice piece on decision inertia which I have certainly witnessed. So far walking through different industries and their approach to errors.

I started reading this book yesterday and have hardly put it down. It is an enthralling read so far and i have felt wonderfully immersed in the world of this story. The immersion and focus has reminded me fondly of my teenage years where my head was often in a book for hours. Mainly Willard Price if I recall correctly.
Without giving much away this story is of acceptance, compassion and it truly heart-warming

Bit of a slow burner but developing an insight into the drive of Chris Morris and needing to push boundaries!

I bought this book purely because i saw her on Taskmaster and Ghosts and found her a quirky actor with an entertaining response to situations. High hopes for the book!

Slow-moving with setting the scene and a very detailed approach to every observation. Sometimes it feels like a couple of sentences would have been sufficient rather than a single sentence the length of a paragraph! Taking time to adjust to this style of writing.

An interesting selection of stories entwining. Reflecting the moral dilemmas of modern medicine and the risks of self-belief blinding from scientific reasoning!
