for once im reading romantasy for romance much more than fantasy (usually its 50/50) but only bc i literally have no idea whats going on lol. feels like i walked into a movie theatre midway through the rising action. im just along for the ride. ts is entertaining though

I really like the relaxed pace of this book. It feels like a collection of short stories with an overarching narrative. This leads to a relaxed pace that still is driven and interesting.

11 year old abandoned farmhouse SCREAAAAMS hiding place after faking ur death. my theory feels so WILD and out there but i had JUST come uo with it and then the reveal of the abandoned farmhouse was too perfect. also a good place to hide a body just saying. i have no idea how someone could sneak something into he locker without being caught on schools cameras but wtv. anyways thats my update for now

my current theory is that andie is alive and SHE killed sal. i have no basis for this but its what im going with 😊 (im so glad sal is innocent) OR maybe its ravi. i dont want it to be but that would be a good twist (hes such a green flag rn though i love him)

i genuinely dont think ive read a more naïve character oml (hyperbole 😊)

so far i feel like the relationship is more compelling but theres a lot of telling not showing which is disappointing

its finally actually enemies to lovers except not really but yes really but idk

story is still cliche and unoriginal BUT the characters are more compelling to me personally

i love how epic the scale of this story is. the longstanding bloodlines and the many characters give it a lotr feel (obviously lotr was a pioneering story and amazing but the magnitude and depth of tog is reminiscent of lotr)

i was lwk hating on this series but now im obsessed

aaron isn’t a good person and juliette shouldn’t have to accept him for who he is right now (he could definitely learn some humanity) but he’s definitely a little redeemed in my eyes

im still not seeing a redemption arc for warner he still is generally an awful person 🤷‍♀️

the way aelin keeps thinking about anyones actions as arobynn’s actions is CONFUSING OML

i cant keep anything straight 😭😭 its smart though

chaol is being so uncooperative and not like constructive

they’re having this whole argument and stuff but chaol is blaming aelin for all this stuff she couldn’t really have prevented

like aelin could’ve been a little more helpful but chaol is downright like lying and keeping things from her for like no reason smh
