I think Carrie Vaughn knows Things. Like found a portal into other worlds Knows Things. I’ve long believed that gateways to other dimensions, skewed perspectives that others generally don’t see, and time travel could be possible. There’s an algorithm for intelligent life existing outside our galaxy. I’ve always felt Hollywood may be in the know. Why not CV?

This is the first book by JA for me. I like Poppy. She’s smart, strong, and a survivor. Great MC.
I don’t really care for Casteel. I may not be able to get over the angst of her not being free. It’s starting to feel a bit like Stockholm syndrome to me so I’m going to keep reading and hoping for a twist out of the kidnappy zone.

I am grateful for these books. They are my sanity in these very trying times.

Seriously, great story line. It continued to be great event through my own stupidity, I kept telling myself "revolution = bad" because everything was so discombobulated. And I followed. Oh how I followed. Until now where this story is like an octopus. :/

Ok MC, I get that you're Obviously not happy about your "selling candy" for 7 years life's work. Really. I've sold hats for 3 and that was soul sucking. But I pay my bills and support myself and I'm a great employee. I would never allow "everyone, especially mothers" to make me feel like a second class citizen. We can't all be killing it in corporate America. Nor would I want to.
