Restarting this on audiobook bc I have 0 time to physically read books now :( anyway I still hope to finish the series by new years lol

Oh my god… the YEARNING!! If you crave a book of love to the core and yearning for someone to be yours this is your book. I need to reread this not on audible and highlight all of the beautiful lines

I took a super long break while I was moving and I really hope it doesn’t impact how well I can follow the rest of the book.

I started this in my road trip last week and I haven’t picked it back up, but I will be doing so promptly on Monday morning. This book has been just a little bit hard to follow, but it’s so good. I definitely think this will warrant a reread someday in the distant future

Already more interesting than Heir of Fire (sorryyyyy)

This is such a fun listen!! The narrator is so good. I feel like if I physically read this I’d be getting caught up on not knowing all the science lingo. Audio definitely makes me get through the difficult-to-understand parts.

Accidentally read 120 pages in the last couple hours I’ve been laying bed. This is so good I can’t stop reading. SJM loves a good war story lol

If I see the word carrion again I’m throwing myself off a cliff. On the other hand, I ADORE how SJM remembers that all of her characters don’t all know the same stuff and leaves a lot of them in the dark about certain topics until a more important time. I love the secrets. In addition to that, I love how people have “nicknames” for each other and as perspectives change, the names they’re called are changed.
