Finished the first chapter set in the far past. It was interesting but the names made it challenging to keep track to a point.

Now onto the 1800s and the boat with the missionaries has been pretty solid. Liking this part a lot more already.

I only read the first chapter tonight and I have no idea what is going on... but holy hell was I on edge?!? It was so creepy to me even before the final page or so of the chapter... Wen slowly sending things being wrong freaked me out for sure. Her talking about her birthday being a few days away. All I could think is she’s not having a birthday.

Love the “classic” moon base is still used to a point. I know it won’t beat his first book for me but I think I’ll still find enjoyment.

I enjoyed it overall but the last 10% or so kind of lost my interest and I’m not sure why. Maybe it had to do with current real life events? Or the anti climatic reveal? But still a solid book overall.

This one got my interest right off the bat. Focused so far on just one character and going between him as a child and the current events. Set in the future? The story about his mother was sad and the man on the side of the road was even more sad.

The ending aspect wasn’t as fulfilling as I’d want. But still was a solid listen overall. The explanation of the brothers or well the family was interesting and I do feel it’s a bit more “realistic” than I expected I do wonder how some folks view that reveal? I do wish we dived more into Thomas and even the places they traveled(bugs?) more so.

The bug part definitely got my interest. And once we dive deeper into the core mystery of what’s going on and once Bobby goes along it really picks up for me. I think the forst half was a bit slower than I was expecting but it’s making up for it a bit now.

Not as hooked on this one as I was with Watchers. I do like the multiple characters views and seeing how they come together. I’m a bit worried frank and candy might be the same person or something? Idk what the hells going on over all haha.

Heard a lot of people say this book was one of the most nightmare filed stories they’ve read. I believe I saw a movie based around in a few years back.

Love the suspense! The section with the little girl and her horse, the cops in the new home. Even the little detail of the petting zoo. I’ve fully enjoyed this audio book overall. I was kind of surprised Nora and Travis just bumped into one another, but still thinking we might get more to it? I feel we’ve had very little of the third person lately. But that’s been taken over by the police POV.

I’m hooked. All three character POVs have been very entertaining. I can clearly see how both male characters will collide later but not sure where Nora fits in just yet. But maybe the cat/mouse terminology and her creepy abusive aunt will come into play.

Forgot to add to my good reads. I’ve been on a Crichton kick this year. I remember watching the movie back in the day. But it feels like a new story to me. The scene with the radar and a moving object freaked me out, loved a lot of the early aspects with the town. Enjoyed the detailed science lab and all the containment areas, even if some of it clearly felt dated to me now. Love the science aspect/details.

Very interesting and scary story... the seal clubbing scene was so sad. I wasn’t expecting another boat to crash or to have multiple groups.

Took awhile to start getting into it. I’ve never really read a pirate story before. Or listened in this case. But once the pirate ness started and now being on an island and having an adventure makes things better.

Listening to the audiobook(love that it’s free via amazon, like the other two!) and idk what it is but I really enjoy Gina/Gwen’s story. I’m a bit bummed that some side characters have been pushed to the side in this final(?) book so far. But I still really enjoy this series. Guilty pleasure lol.

I’m not one to read/listen to non fiction but it’s marvel! So far it isn’t bad.

Still would be a sweet movie/show. Spoilers; I totally expected the deaths to happen a bit more quickly but then again like four happen one after the other once the security comes looking for them.

I really like the idea and reminds me of a mature “honey I shrunk the kids” haha

Really enjoy Levi as a character and exploring any adventure with him. The first story was enjoyable and never really thought much about evil trees til now. I also enjoyed the start of the second story even if I knew the out come of the lady.

Really enjoying the book overall. But the voice actor isn’t the greatest but isn’t that bad either. I really liked the “Jerry” scene but is it really just that obvious? Spoilers maybe? I think Jerry is just some smart AI? Seems to in your face but I think it’s suppose to be a mystery or something still? Buuut being an audiobook I wonder how much I may have missed out by spacing out 😑

Started the audio book so not sure how to really tell how far in I am. But enjoying it so far.

I forgot to update as I went on. I enjoyed the mystery at the start of the novel and the idea of what the mystery became but I’m not overall in love with the remaining story.

Started reading again. Trixy story was pretty terrifying. Reminded me of “IT” and the fridge scene.

Conor’s actions have really bothered me. I understand the author is trying to make you feel conflicted with his choices and maybe I would if I was him but it feels so obvious.

The changes didn’t bother me long. I’ve enjoyed it overall but I do believe the first book felt more tight. The voice acting is hit or miss for me. The rich guy aspect seemed a bit much but I still look at this series as a solid Lifetime channel movie.

I’m not sure I like the change from the first book. More chapters is kinda nice since it’s more stopping points but being from different POV seems strange.

One character kinda surprised me with their true intention. Another made total sense as to who he was but not sure what route it may take now. I’m guessing friendly? I don’t hate the narrator for this, she try’s to have different voices per character at least.

Digging the suspense. I like both Javie and Cade, I do wonder if either will end up being bad, they seem to point too much in cades way forit to really happen.

With a body found I do wonder if we’ll see the killer be the son taking after his father or maybe the daughter? Reaching but not too much to go off so far but I’ve enjoyed their lives as things go.
