i have yet to read a book where a french male author doesn’t make any comment on the weight of other characters (in a discriminatory way)

i know ppl are saying that the end of this book is insane and it makes you want to read the next one immediately so idk what’s going to happen IM SCARED

i’ll admit i was scared of this second book when i finished the first one, because the end didn’t grasp me as much as i expected.. but right now? IM HOOKED, rin is finally more bearable (poor girl)

the different jumps in time are weird and happen every chapter but when i think this book is boring me, the author finds a way to win my tears

this reads a little bit like fanfiction at times i feel like.. also the different scenes are a bit one dimensional

this is a book « outside » of what i’m used to reading but my interest is definitely peaked

im grateful there’s no other book to see clary and jace in together as a couple because i would have stopped otherwise

jace got a severe case of « i, and i, oh i » syndrome, i mean he’s the main character and all that but boy does the world not revolve around you.. almost..

who would have thought shutting off your phone 1h before your bed and reading would be the key to READING
