Why does Oswald get an arc and a chance at redemption and sympathy from the narrative but not the girls lmao? Like this paints little girls as irredeemably self-obsessed and angsty :/

Solid audiobook so far. Only thing I don’t like is the baby voice the narrator does for the kid character. But so far loving the Asscan (astronaut candidate—which I didn’t know till now) story.
