ok this book do be annoying me with the "toxic" and "problematic" and "imposter syndrome" being vocab words in the 70s/80s. also "woolf, the woman writer for people who hate women writers" AND WE ARENT SUPPOSED TO RESENT THIS COMMENT??? ITS SUPPOSED TO BE A SLAY???? A ROOM OF ONES OWN⁉️

the plot is like just okayyy but mcconaghys writing is very lively and compelling!

oo she kinda comin together in the end. really no idea how it will turn out 🤔

i think i agree w reviews that part 1 is stronger than part 2. though i am intrigued how things will turn out 🤔

HEY SO LIKE WHY IS THIS BOOK LIKE. ACTUALLY INCREDIBLE. the writing is soooooooo insanely potent. im interested to see how part 2 differs from part 1

this book is compulsively readable like the words just lift right off the page and enter your brain

you know this book did NOT hit like this when i was 17 (AND IT STILL HAD HIT!)
