ok after a 5 month break im ready to finish this series (you know. again). (i also had to stop bc my writing was sounding twilightesque and i couldnt live like that but now my book is done so we can play :) )

i feel like what's Bothering me about this book is that i see myself so much as lina, but the story is through the eyes of lenu, and we watch as lina hurts her and causes her anguish over and over again! so it is uncomfortable to me in that way, like making one take a GOOD HARD LOOK IN THE MIRROR. continuing reading for self flagellation purposes or something
