Idk... I like the characters and I'm enjoying the book, but I'm just not invested?? Not soft DNF yet but maybe.

Okay so I'm gonna soft DNF this one. I can't get into it and think maybe it's a writing style thing for me? Also the time jumps are super discombobulating... And not great for building a relationship when you haven't established anything besides attraction to begin with.

I love them ur honor. Im googling and kicking my feet :)

IDK what page I'm on but I'm loving Harriet and Nolan! Perfect combination of tension and banter.

Currently Beta Reading a book and struggling through it unfortunately, it was not what I was expecting at all.

I feel like I'm finally getting to the point where I can fully enjoy the Crescent City storylines because this book has so many more insightful conversations and details than the first. I also have a love-hate relationship with how things are being breadcrumbed throughout because I feel like I'm going to get slapped in the face towards the end lol.

I'm already liking this one more than the first because it is 10 times easier to read!

Look, I really want to like this one I do. But I think Peyton Corinne's writing is just not for me. Which I feel horrible about but somehow the character's conneciton seems so ingenuine. And I loved them in her other book which is why I decided to give this one a shot. But ugh... there are some good quotes tho.
Also I wanna read Toren Kane's book lol

I can absolutely see why everyone is saying if you love Ali Hazelwood this is the book for you. I will ALWAYS be down to read a book with a woman in STEM and the man who is absolutely obsessed with her an she doesn't even realize it. Bc she thinks he hates her heheheh

Quite frankly, I'm obsessed! I keep going into my coworkers office to talk about this book, skirting spoilers bc I'm like ... You need to read this one please. The breadcrumb tension and then the gargoyle.... Sarcastic and hilarious

This story is so beautifully dense with prose and I love the breadcrumbs we are getting from Rory now that Sybil knows more :)

Well I read a quarter of the book in one sitting so safe to say that my reading slump has likely ceased!

Probably would be reading this in one sitting if i did not have to work.
