Ngl this is kinda disappointing so far. If you gave me 4 shots of espresso and an hour-long deadline I feel like I could stretch out half of these three paragraph "sections" to at least an entire chapter. Like there is zero way comparing lycanthropy to the AIDS crisis was literally a page and a half long.

Maybe it's because I'm a 23-year-old woman and this book is for 12-18 year olds in the 2020s, but that was perhaps the most cringe prologue I have ever read.

Love it when a book makes me reread an entire chapter because I refuse to believe what I just read happened.
