Lord I'm almost free of this series

In 1-3 years when I start a YouTube I'm gonna have to read all of them again for my critique video that I so desperately want to do because I am a hater at my core.

This is undoubtedly one of the most tedious books I've ever read

Holy exposition Batman

Rereading ACOTAR as an adult (11 years later) is so funny to me bc what do you MEAN:
1) SJM erases almost all of the character relationship building between Feyre and Tamlin in the second book in favor of Rhys (valid)
2) this was originally published as YA (I apparently blocked out all the smut)
3) the woman who writes stuff life "no one deserves to die horribly in a war they did not ask for" is a z!onist

There is something so funny rereading this and knowing SJM decides to erase the ENTIRE romance between Feyre and Tamlin in the second book.

Like girl...all this character building and for what...

(I don't blame you Feyre I would've left for Rhys too)

I too struggle with my sexuality, being a humanities major, and having tooth pain so bad you wind up in the ER.

This was written for a very specific type of person (white woman on a campus in Baltimore and suffering in academia while being haunted by old memories) and that person is ME

This is hitting too close to home and my current struggles and it's making me sick but also relieved

I'm like...not enjoying this at all

I waited THREE MONTHS for this to show up at the library and it is mediocre so far sobs

Technically I'm "listening" to this via audiobook but I also have a physical copy to keep track of where I am lol
